How to strengthen natural nails?

Strengthening natural nails with gel polish bases is very popular – and above all practical. Nails gain strength, durability and a naturally well-groomed look that can last for several weeks without lifting. This method of strengthening is suitable not only for hands, but also for feet.

How to achieve the most realistic gel colours on a mobile phone?

The shade of a gel cannot be displayed completely objectively in product photos so that it appears identical to the real colour on every device. Colour display varies depending on the type of screen, its settings and the surrounding lighting conditions.
To see the colour as close as possible to the real shade, we recommend setting your phone’s display brightness to maximum and turning off automatic colour adjustment features that adapt to ambient light, as these cause the greatest colour deviations.
On iPhones, this is the True Tone feature, while on Samsung devices it is, for example, Adaptive Color Tone.
Even with the correct settings, it is important to keep in mind that colour display may still vary slightly from the real shade depending on the specific device used.

Why does my gel polish or ONE STEP gel polish lift around the cuticles?

The most common reason for lifting around the cuticles is insufficient nail preparation or product touching the cuticle. It is essential to gently roughen the nail with a 180-grit file, thoroughly remove dust, use NAIL PREP and, if necessary, ULTRABOND PRIMER. The product must never touch the cuticle – even minimal contact can cause lifting.

How to properly prepare the natural nail for long-lasting manicure?

Proper nail preparation includes disinfecting the hands, gently roughening the nail surface with a 180-grit file, pushing back and optionally removing the cuticles, removing dust, and degreasing the nail using CLEANSER and NAIL PREP. Careful preparation is the key to long-lasting wear without lifting.

Do I need to use a primer with gel polishes and ONE STEP gel polishes?

Using a primer is not always necessary, but it is highly recommended for problematic, soft, or heavily stressed nails. A primer improves adhesion to the natural nail and helps prevent lifting.
